ABOUT

ABOUT INNER MOTUS THERAPY

Inner Motus Therapy supports individuals and couples to develop deeper self-awareness, emotional capacity, and connection to the body.

The work is grounded in the understanding that lasting change begins with the ability to meet what is true. Therapy focuses on building the capacity to stay present to internal experience, rather than avoiding or becoming overwhelmed by it.

Drawing on somatic, trauma-informed, and attachment-based approaches, Inner Motus Therapy works with the nervous system, unconscious patterns, and relational dynamics. Breathwork and body-based practices are integrated to support both insight and embodied change.

The practice offers a grounded, inclusive space for honest exploration and meaningful transformation.

ABOUT RUBY BELLCHAMBERS

Ruby is the founder of Inner Motus Therapy, a somatic therapist, counsellor, and breathwork practitioner with over 12 years of experience supporting individuals and couples.

Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed, body-based approach, helping clients develop awareness of unconscious patterns held within the nervous system. She integrates breathwork, somatic therapy, parts-based work, and attachment-informed perspectives to support emotional processing, regulation, and deeper self-connection.

Ruby’s approach is relational, grounded, and shaped by both extensive training and lived experience. She has worked across mental health, domestic violence support, and community services, and works with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds.

She holds a Bachelor of Applied Social Science (Counselling) and has completed four years of postgraduate training in Conscious Connected Breathwork.
