What is Conscious Connected Breathwork?
There are many different forms of breathwork, Conscious Connected Breathwork is a specific form of cyclical breathing that allows us to enter into an altered state of consciousness or awareness. The conscious mind is very active for most of us in this day and age, and breathwork can support us to “bypass” the conscious mind and enter in the subconscious realms and into the body. Often our traumas are stored in the cells, in the unconscious parts of us. Breathwork allows us to move towards what we want and connect to our own inner healer.
Our nervous systems can become “stuck” in particular states, such as Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn. Breathwork is a tool that can help us move out of these states and through the healing necessary to move towards what you want and need. We can gain awareness and release what is stored in our bodies, nervous system, immune system and minds.
Conscious Connected Breathwork can help us unwind the nervous system and connect into different body states to allow us to move into homeostasis, peace and inner safety. These altered states allow us to connect into our own inner world, which may help us resolve unresolved wounds from our past. This is done by bringing these unhealed or unintegrated parts of ourselves into the present moment which allows us to let it go, integrate it or heal it as needed.

What Does a Session Look Like?
Breathwork is a process, and the way I hold space is with a therapeutic healing lens. I suggest completing 10 sessions over a set amount of time that works for you. For example 1 session every 2 weeks. This allows the deep healing and change to take place. In saying this, this is not always what may be needed for you and where you are at. Sometimes our bodies and nervous systems can be in a dysregulated state and titrating and going gently towards opening these spaces is vital so we don’t blast ourselves too far or too fast into ‘the work”.
For online sessions: You will need to have a safe, quiet space where you can lie down, preferably on a mat on the floor. Have comfortable clothes, and warmth as needed. You may have a blanket, however preferably not a big duvet. You may want a eye mask and a water bottle.
In person sessions: Please wear comfortable clothes, with some layers. Everything else will be provided.
A breathwork session runs usually 1.5 hour to 2 hours.

Group Breathwork
Group Breathwork is a powerful, community experience where we combine breathwork and being in community together. This is a way to connect with yourself, breathe and other breathers.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that not everything goes to plan and sometimes we need to cancel last minute. If you are doing regular breathwork sessions and need to cancel our policy is 2 cancellation at no charge. After this we have a “night before” cancellation policy. This essentially means cancel as soon as you can. We may charge if you haven’t cancelled 5 hours prior to your session. We hold no judgments around why you may need to or simply feel like cancelling. We get it, doing this work needs to happen at the right time. Please let us know if you need to cancel.
